To Request a Harp
Communities, groups or institutions physically located anywhere in Israel may request a harp. Harps For Israel will retain ownership of the instrument for the first year, to ensure that interest in learning to play the harp remains strong. Where such interest is demonstrated, ownership of the instrument will pass on to the local individual or community.
Applicants should demonstrate a desire to play the harp for prayer and worship, not just for personal pleasure--although we assume harpists will derive much joy from playing this wonderful instrument!
No prior skill or exposure to harps is necessary. We find that young people love the harp, and we encourage communities to apply on behalf of their youth.
To request a harp, email, phone or write to: Tom and Elizabeth Miller, Harps for Israel (see Contact Page). Please provide a brief paragraph or two describing why you believe you should receive a free harp, or be prepared to explain this on the phone.Sign up here for our mailing list.
